Yul Gok


Yul Gok was a 16th century Korean philosopher, nicknamed
"The Confuscius of Korea".



This form begins and ends in ready stance.

1. step into a left, slow, ridding stance middle punch
2. double middle punch, fast
3. two steps into a right, slow, ridding stance middle punch
4. double middle punch, fast
5. turn 45 degrees right, front stance single middle forearm block
6. left leg front kick, land in a front stance double middle punch
7. turn 90 degrees left, front stance single middle forearm block
8. right leg front kick, land in a front stance double middle punch
9. turn 45 degrees right, front stance knife hand circle block, reverse
knife hand circle block, middle punch
10. step forward into a left front stance knife-hand circle block, reverse
knife hand circle block, middle punch
11. step forward, right front stance middle punch & Kihap
12. left leg side kick, land in a front stance reverse elbow strike
13. look over your right shoulder, "X" step right leg side kick, land in a
front stance reverse elbow strike
14. turn 90 degrees left, back stance knife hand double high block
15. step forward, right front stance spear finger strike
14. turn 180 degrees right, back stance knife hand double high block
15. step forward, left front stance spear finger strike
16. turn 135 degrees left, back stance back fist punch, reverse punch
17. turn 90 degrees right, back stance back fist punch, reverse punch
18. turn 45 degrees left, jumping left back fist punch, "X" step & kihap
19. turn 270 right, front stance forearm double high block
20. turn 180 degrees left, front stance forearm double high block
